April 3rd / 6:30-7:30pm / Mystery Herb Tea Tasting

Come join Clinical Herbalists Mel Kasting and Amanda Jokerst as they walk you through a mystery tea tasting! This class happens once per month as part of our 6-month Foundational Herbal Medicine program, but it is open to anyone in the public who would like to join us.

Participants will sample one herb made into a tea without knowing what it is beforehand. We'll discuss plant energetics and how to engage our senses (smell, taste, how it feels in our bodies) to understand the beneficial actions and properties of the medicinal plant we are working with. At the end of class, Mel and Amanda will reveal the herb's identity and share its traditional and practical uses.

This a really fun way to learn about herbs in community! We're looking forward to experiencing this mystery plant with you!
