I am a certified clinical herbalist, trained in clinical nutrition, functional medicine, and Traditional Western Herbalism. I attended the clinical herbalist intensive program at Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine from 2019-2020, which honors the tradition of the Eclectics from the early 19th and 20th century. The Eclectics used all the tools available at the time to help their patients – botanical, homeopathic, mineral and occasional chemical medicines to bring balance to the body.

Prior to 2019, I worked in marketing, PR, event planning and donor relationships in the St. Louis area for about a decade. I spent most of my free time studying herbs on my own or learning folk herbalism from herbalists in the region. I used what I learned to help friends and family and to work on my own health challenges, but I wanted to know more. I wanted to balance my plant spirit knowledge with an herbal education based in modern science so I could feel confident helping more people.

Continuing the tradition of the Eclectics, I focus on herbal medicine, nutrition and lifestyle changes, but support clients by working with a wide range of medical professionals when appropriate. I especially love to work with those experiencing anxiety, depression or other mental health challenges as well as those who have chronic health issues, allergies or sensitivities, and people who identify as neurodivergent or as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Most of my initial intake sessions last 2-3 hours. This gives us plenty of time to pull details about each body system and to take a good look at your history – so we can connect the dots and make the most impactful changes together.
